GENERAL OVERVIEW AS&HF magazine provides educational and health care facility managers and members of the building team with timely and relevant information on topics that are of concern to them in their daily routines. AS&HF reaches 37,000 facility managers in U.S. school districts, colleges, hospitals and large nursing homes. The editorial focus of the magazine is dedicated to discussing facility management topics including “green” issues, roofing, security & safety, renovation, new construction, maintenance, cleaning, HVAC, lighting, CMMS, energy management and plumbing. We analyze current trends in the marketplace as well as legislative changes that have an impact on educational and health care facilities.
ARTICLE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Article Requirements: Each issue deals with specific topics/issues in facility management such as roofing, HVAC, cleaning and maintenance, the building envelope etc. They do not promote a specific company or company product. Please keep the article generic and white. Deadlines: You may submit an idea/topic before a final article is submitted, however keep in mind we like to work two months in advance for our feature editorials. Please include a title and do not use information that is not directed to our reader, the facility manager or any regional articles/updates as we are nationally read. Graphics: Graphics should be submitted on disk in a JPEG, EPS or TIF format. Resolution must be at least 300 dpi and should be set to CMYK.
