ASSA combines the electro-mechanical intelligence of the Cliq system with the tried and true reputation of their guaranteed for life padlock.

The Cliq system miniaturizes security information so that the electromechanical key can communicate to the electric motor within the padlock cylinder. In addition to the standard components of an ASSA key, the bow of the Cliq key contains a memory chip that controls an electronic side code (an added security benefit). If manipulation of the padlock occurs, the electromechanical blocking element will lock the side rail in place and prevent any unauthorized users. Encrypted information is only transmitted when the approved programmed key is inserted into the cylinder.

Along with a padlock body case of hardened steel, a cylinder that is UL 437 listed, and a tensile strength of 4.5 tons; ASSA additionally incorporates a virtually unlimited method of security with its Cliq technology.
