The ADM series AirData Multimeters may be used as hand-held portable meters for air velocity, pressure, and temperature measurement. These meters may also be used to obtain direct air flow readings with an 8400 FlowHood kit. Any model meter can be upgraded to a model with greater capabilities whenever needed.

ADM-870 AIRDATA MULTIMETER
The ADM-870 AirData Multimeter is designed specifically for applications with very demanding air distribution requirements. The unique features of this meter are ideally suited for maintaining air quality control in facilities such as: hospitals, pharmaceutical, biological and medical research laboratories, semiconductor manufacturing cleaning rooms and other applications in which the highest standards of the industry must be met. Air velocity and flow readings may be displayed in either standard density mass flow equivalent, or as local density air velocity or volumetric flow, as compensated for variations in altitude and temperature.

The auto-read function allows continuous automatic readings for monitoring ongoing changes in a system as it is being adjusted. Auto-read may also be used with the memory function to automatically store up to 100 readings. Each reading may be recalled, and the average and total of the readings may be displayed. The averaging feature is useful for measurements made under fluctuating conditions.

The differential pressure and temperature associated with a velocity reading are in short term memory and may be displayed immediately following each velocity measurement.

The 16 point VelGrid provides repeatable velocity readings at HEPA filters, chemical exhaust hoods, coil banks and many more general face velocity applications.

ADM-850 AIRDATA MULTIMETER
The ADM-850 Multimeter offers the unequaled accuracy and flexibility of the Shortridge Instruments AIRDATA MultiMeters in a simplified model, at a reduced cost. This meter may be ordered in the ADM-850 MultiMeter kit, complete with accessories for measuring air velocity, pressure, and temperature, or as part of the CFM-850 FlowHood kit.

The Model ADM-870 provides maximum capability for the most demanding air balance requirements. The Models ADM-860 and ADM-850 are simplified versions of the meter. Please note that any of the ADM series AirData Multimeter kits may be purchased with or without an 8400 FlowHood kit.
