Waste Stream Auditing - LEED Certification

Many facility managers are considering LEED and a "Waste Stream Audit" is typically required for certification. But even if you are not pursuing LEED, your organization is likely considering some sort of greening or sustainability-focused initiative. Performing a waste stream audit will tell you exactly how efficient your recycling and waste management systems are. A waste stream audit will:

• Help establish baseline waste and recycling data
• Show how many and what types of recyclables are not being captured
• Identify issues related to regulatory compliance
• Reveal how much your wastes are actually costing your facility
• Provide data and recommendations for improving recycling efforts

About the Presenter
Tom Griffin is the director of Greener Results, a sustainability consulting group that specializes in the development of efficient and practical environmental programs that are focused on improved performance and cost savings. Greener Results provides a wide array of services to its clients, including LEED advisory services and waste stream auditing.

How to Think Green & Sustainable in Cleaning for Health and Hygiene

The purpose of this webinar is to educate and discuss “Green Cleaning” trends, advantages, benefits, return on investment, costs, implementation and training. Cleaning for health with microfiber continues to grow replacing traditional cleaning methods. The term “Green” for cleaning usually denotes the use of microfibers for more effective cleaning with using less water and chemical.
