GREEN CLEANING: BENEFITS, SOLUTIONS &
STRATEGIES
Facility managers are looking seriously
at green cleaning. They realize the
improved products, the growth of green
cleaning services and the potential
health improvements can have a big
impact on a facility, its occupants and
the bottom line.
Presenter Donna Duberg will discuss the
importance of green cleaning, including
the benefits and solutions to toxic
chemicals. Duberg will provide an
overview of various green cleaning
programs, such as Green Seal and LEED,
and how they are setting the standard by
which buildings of the future will be
cleaned and maintained. Duberg will also
cover how facility managers can
implement a green cleaning program at
their facility, tips to properly train
employees and how to track and measure
success. Irene Tlach, editor of American
School & Hospital Facility will serve as
moderator.
About the Presenter:
Donna Duberg is an assistant professor
of clinical laboratory science at Saint
Louis University, member of the
“Pandemic Issues” committee, and an
authority on hygiene and disease
prevention. Duberg received her Masters
in Clinical Laboratory Science from
Michigan State University. Duberg is
also a member of SCA Tissue’s Tork Green
Hygiene Council, a group of top
professional and academic authorities
from across the country who provide
insight on green building, corporate
sustainability, hygiene and germ
